Hi, I am Adam Bashneen. Communication is one of my greatest strengths, whether through debate, writing, or public speaking. As a seasoned debater, I was the runner-up in the Frankenstein Debating Tournament and was actively taking part in the Indian Debating League to brush up on my skills to clearly express and articulate complex ideas persuasively. I also love language-based activities. I have excelled in various Spell Bee International Competitions at inter-school, state, and national levels. I was ranked among the top 20 worldwide.

Words have always been a powerful medium for me. I also write poems and have authored a book, which was featured in the prestigious International Kolkata Book Fair, an experience that further solidified my belief in the idea of storytelling.

Leadership is another milestone in my journey. As the former Vice Head Boy of my school and Secretary-General for my school MUN, I found myself sharing responsibilities with empathy for others and leading teams toward mutually agreed goals while embracing inclusivity. These positions empowered me further with skills in teamwork, mediating conflicts, and motivating my peers. Giving back to the community is what truly matters to me. Hindustan Times has recognised my initiatives to support the underprivileged voices through NGO collaborations and community services. In my eyes, leadership is not achievement; it is about creating opportunities for others.

Besides academics and community service, I am an artist and an athlete at heart. Music is my forever passion. I am doing a Diploma in Keyboard from Trinity College London while soaking in the tunes of comfort and expression. In the past nine years, I have been developing discipline, teamwork, and resilience on the basketball court. These skills have been translating in all areas of my life.

Balanced with logic and creative thinking, along with the desire to bring change, I wish to further use my skills to solve world problems, be it through technology, policy, or in advocacy. What I have learnt so far is that true success lies where knowledge, passion, and purpose meet. Whatever the future holds, I am set to walk in integrity, question with intent, and lead by example.
